Meet Cutra, a calmer way to track currencies

Currency moves all day. Most of the time, you do not need to watch it.
Cutra is the next app we are building: a small, focused currency tracker for your Mac menu bar. It keeps an eye on the rates you care about, then quietly lets you know when something reaches the range you chose.
A quiet view from the menu bar
We wanted Cutra to feel like a glance, not a destination. It stays out of the way in the menu bar until you want a quick look. Open it and see the currencies you are following, without turning a simple check into a dashboard session.
Add the pairs that matter to you—whether you are planning a trip, getting paid in another currency, or simply keeping an eye on the exchange rate—and keep the rest out of sight.
Alerts on your terms
The useful moment is not every tiny movement. It is when a rate reaches a point where you want to act.
For each currency, you can set a floor, a ceiling, or both. When the rate touches one of those limits, Cutra sends a notification. The ranges are yours, so the alerts reflect your own plans rather than somebody else's idea of what matters.
Less watching, more knowing
Cutra is for the people who want to stay informed without letting the market take over their day. No noisy feed, no unnecessary charts, no pressure to keep refreshing. Just the currencies you chose, the limits you set, and a small nudge when it is time to look.
We are still shaping Cutra, but that is the direction: a calm little companion in the menu bar that makes currency tracking feel lighter.
